The Korea Immigration Service Foundation has been designated by the Ministry of Justice as an operating agency for the Immigrant Early Adaptation Program (Early Adaptation Support Group and Support Centers).
In this role, the Foundation is responsible for the operation and management of the Immigrant Early Adaptation Program, serving a wide range of participants, including marriage migrants, Late-entry youth, overseas Koreans with foreign nationality, international students, foreign entertainers, migrant workers, seasonal workers, and foreign residents living in high-density immigrant areas.

The Immigrant Early Adaptation Program is a social integration education program designed to help foreign nationals who intend to reside long-term in the Republic of Korea settle into Korean society in a stable manner during the initial stage of their stay. The program provides essential information on Korea’s basic laws, systems, and social adaptation, delivered in the languages used by the participants.

Completion Benefits

Please note that full attendance of the 5-hour program is mandatory for the completion to be officially recognized.
- Korea Immigration Integration Program (KIIP)
Upon participation in the KIIP, 2 hours of education will be credited toward the program requirements.
※ This applies only to the "first" level assigned to the participant (excluding Level 0).
- Extension of Stay for Marriage Immigrants (F-6)
Marriage migrants who apply for an extension of stay for the first time at the time of foreigner registration are granted a two-year period of stay.(excluding individuals subject to entry restrictions)
- While marriage immigrants who have already registered as aliens or have changed their status within Korea can still participate in the Early Adaptation Program, they will not receive the 2-year extension benefit upon completion.
